The Special Adviser to the President on Media Publicity, Femi Adesina, has promised that the Muhammadu Buhari government will build on the feats recorded in seven years in the remaining 12 months of the administration. He made this known while addressing a forum of media experts and practitioners in Abuja.
Mr Adesina said the Buhari administration would not only continue with its aggressive fight against corruption, but would also intensify its efforts at diversifying the economy and creating jobs. He said the government was committed to ensuring that all Nigerians benefited from the country’s resources, and that it would continue to work hard to improve the standard of living for all citizens.
Mr Adesina’s assurance comes as a welcome relief to many Nigerians who have been worried about the country’s future in recent months. With just twelve months left to go, it is reassuring to know that the Buhari administration is still focused on delivering its promises to the Nigerian people.
