The former PDP presidential hopeful Dr Peter Obi who recently dumped the party in a letter addressed to the PDP headquarters has finally joined the Labour Party and will be contesting for the Presidential ticket of the party to participate in the 2023 Presidential election.
It was reported that Peter Obi was not happy with the way things were going in his old party and have said that “The results of various primaries of the party conducted so far have shown who most of these delegates are loyal to,”.
Recall that Peter Obi wrote a letter dated 24th May 2022 wrote a letter to the PDP Chairman Iyorchia Ayu detailing his displeasure with the way the affairs of the party were being conducted in relation to the ongoing primaries.
